A drone, believed to be operated by the United States, targeted a civilian vehicle on Saturday evening in front of the gate of the 2nd Defense Brigade base in the city of Ataq, Shabwah Governorate.

Local sources reported that the drone fired two missiles at a gray Hyundai Santa Fe, setting the vehicle completely ablaze and burning the body of the individual inside beyond recognition, making identification impossible at this time.

U.S. drones continue to carry out strikes across various regions of Yemen, with no comment or clarification from the internationally recognized government, despite these operations occurring within its areas of control.
