9 PM: Exposing the Crime of the Century

NYN | News

Yemeni and Arab activists are launching a wide-scale tweet campaign this evening, Wednesday, on the platform X (formerly Twitter), aiming to shed light on the crime of blockade and starvation imposed on the population of the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Israeli assault and direct U.S. support.

The campaign is set to begin at exactly 9:00 PM, Sana’a and Jerusalem time, under two main hashtags:
#Gaza_Is_Starving
#Crime_of_the_Century

Organizers have called on the Arab public to participate massively in order to break the media silence and expose what they describe as a “slow genocide” targeting civilians in Gaza through a suffocating blockade and the denial of food and medicine, all amid complicit international silence.

The campaign coincides with repeated warnings from UN and human rights organizations about the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, where over two million Palestinians suffer from severe shortages of basic supplies. Dozens have reportedly died due to malnutrition and hunger, in what is considered one of the most alarming cases of collective punishment in modern times.
