British maritime security company Ambrey estimated the range of weapons of Sanaa government forces.
The company said, “Estimates indicate that the military capabilities in Yemen reach as far as the eastern Mediterranean.”
Adding, “We advise ships heading to Israel to engage intelligence agencies to assist in trip planning and immediately conceal destination information.”
Last Friday, Sanaa government forces announced, through their spokesman Yahya Saree, entering what they called the “fourth stage of escalation,” stating they would target Israeli ships or those affiliated with Israel in the eastern Mediterranean if the latter attempted to invade Rafah.
Since late last year, Sanaa government forces have targeted Israeli ships and those affiliated with them in the Red and Arabian Seas before extending their operations to part of the Indian Ocean.
In response, the US and Britain launched airstrikes on Yemen, prompting Sanaa government forces to announce that their operations would include targeting American and British commercial and military ships in response to what they called “the American-British aggression.”
Sanaa forces say their operations against Israel will continue until the latter stops the genocide in Gaza and lifts the siege.
