The British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Monday that it received a report of a commercial ship being attacked by three small boats 70 nautical miles southwest of Hodeidah, Yemen.
The UKMTO explained that a small unmanned boat collided with the ship twice, and two manned small boats fired upon it. The ship and its crew are safe and are heading to their next port of call after “taking self-protection measures.”
