American media reports have confirmed the success of Sana’a government forces in targeting U.S. warships during ongoing confrontations in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
The American magazine *National Interest* reported, “The Houthis have successfully targeted U.S. Navy warships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden using missiles and drones.”
The magazine added that the U.S. warship *USS Gravely* was targeted by suicide drones and ballistic missiles late last year.
It is noted that since November of last year, Sana’a forces have been carrying out military operations against Israeli shipping as a show of support for Gaza, which has been subjected to aggression and acts of genocide by the Zionist enemy.
In response, both the U.S. and the UK have been conducting airstrikes on Yemen in an attempt to deter Yemeni military operations against Israel. This prompted Sana’a to announce that U.S. and British commercial and military vessels would also be targeted, with passage through the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea being restricted.
Additionally, the European Union has launched a naval operation named “Aspides” against Sana’a forces, aiming to halt their operations against Israeli shipping.
