Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi (Ansar Allah) movement, confirmed on Thursday that preparations for a response against Israel are ongoing, and the timing of the response will be a complete surprise to the occupying entity, indicating that there are upcoming surprises that the enemy will never anticipate.
In his weekly televised speech, Al-Houthi stated, “While we are focused on preparing a response, our concern extends beyond that, and we are keen to elevate our operational support for Palestine to more impactful levels.” He emphasized that there are no political ceilings or considerations limiting the scale of these operations in support of Gaza and all of Palestine.
He added, “Our dear people are developing their capabilities, and with God’s will, there are upcoming surprises that the enemy will not expect or consider at all.”
Al-Houthi explained, “We will act at any operational level we can without hesitation, and we diligently strive, with reliance on and trust in God, to develop our capabilities qualitatively, so that we can be more effective and impactful in targeting the Israeli enemy and supporting the Palestinian people.”
Al-Houthi noted that “despite all that we have done and continue to do, and all that our people are moving towards, even at a level unmatched by any other people, we still feel the pain that we have not yet reached the level we aspire to and seek in supporting Palestine, nor the level of stronger impact on the Israeli enemy, despite the significant economic impact it has already suffered.”
Al-Houthi added that the Yemeni operations have led to the complete closure of the Eilat port, causing the enemy significant losses, as 40% or more of the port’s maritime traffic has stopped due to the closure of the Bab al-Mandeb strait.
He described the Yemeni military operations in support of Palestine as a “sacred jihad, a religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility.”
In his speech, the Ansar Allah leader revealed that “the Yemeni naval forces carried out significant and important operations this week, including the daring and brave seizure of the Sonion ship.”
Al-Houthi explained that “two teams from the naval forces executed the seizure in two stages, where the ship was rigged with explosives and its cargo was destroyed.”
He pointed out that the bombing of the Sonion ship, which was documented with its large and impactful scene, exposes the lies of the Americans in their claims of deterring Yemeni operations in support of Palestine.
He added, “Our operations continue effectively, despite the scarcity of targets in the Red Sea due to the limited number of ships connected to the enemies.” Al-Houthi affirmed that “our forces targeted another ship carrying bulk goods, and the effectiveness and control of our operations are acknowledged by the enemies.”
He noted that “shipping companies connected to the enemy have started to distance themselves greatly from Yemen, which incurs them extremely high costs.” He added that “some companies have started to move far away, deep into the Indian Ocean, far from Africa, instead of passing near the Arabian Sea or Socotra Island.”
