On Monday, the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” Yahya Sinwar, sent a special message to the leader of the “Ansar Allah” movement in Yemen, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made in supporting the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle. Sinwar’s message referenced the targeting of “Tel Aviv” with a Yemeni hypersonic missile, noting that this operation marks a new and strategic phase in the fight against the Zionist entity.
In his message to al-Houthi, Sinwar said:
“I am pleased to write to you on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday while we are jointly fighting the blessed ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle, which has dealt a strong blow to the Zionist project in the region at large and has written the first pages of God’s sacred promise to liberate Palestine.”
He added:
“I am delighted to thank you for the sincere sentiments, overwhelming emotions, and strong will that we have witnessed from you during the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle, whether in the resistance field or through the communications you send us and the messages your esteemed delegations carry.”
Referring to the hypersonic missile strike on “Tel Aviv” launched by Sana’a forces on Sunday, Sinwar said:
“Today, Palestine woke up to the news of your launching the fifth phase of your participation in the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle. I congratulate you on the success of your missiles reaching deep into the enemy’s territory, bypassing all layers and defense and interception systems, reigniting the impact of the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle on the heart of Tel Aviv once again.”
He continued:
“The Zionist enemy believed that the genocide it is conducting against our Palestinian people, along with the containment and neutralization strategies directed by the United States and its allies, would allow it to win its Nazi-like war against our people. But your exceptional operation yesterday morning sent a clear message to the enemy that their containment and neutralization plans have failed, and that the supporting fronts are now becoming more effective, with greater impact towards resolving the battle in favor of our proud and free nations.”
He went on to say:
“In this regard, I extend my greetings to the leadership of our brotherly Yemen, the leadership of Ansar Allah, and the heroes of the dear Yemeni army, who have excelled in developing their military capabilities to reach deep into the occupying entity.”
He added:
“I also send my greetings to the great Yemeni people, who throughout their history have never ceased to support our Palestinian cause. The fields of dear Yemen still witness this weekly since the start of the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle.”
Sinwar affirmed in his message:
“Our people in Gaza live between two states: a state of extreme pain and suffering due to the Nazi aggression, genocide, siege, and starvation, which requires all members of the nation to support and stand by them, and a state of heroic resistance led by the Qassam Brigades, which launched the October 7 attack with unprecedented skill and fought a defensive battle for a whole year that has exhausted the enemy and dealt it heavy blows.”
Addressing al-Houthi, Sinwar said:
“In this regard, I reassure you that the resistance is well, and what the enemy declares is nothing but lies and psychological warfare,” adding, “We have prepared ourselves for a prolonged war of attrition that will break the enemy’s political will, just as the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ broke its military will.”
Sinwar concluded his letter by saying:
“Our joint efforts with you, our brothers in the valiant resistance in Lebanon, and the Islamic resistance in Iraq will break this enemy and defeat it on the path to expelling it from our land by God’s will:
‘And they say, “When will it be?” Say, “Perhaps it will be soon” (Surah Al-Isra, 17:51).'”
