The leader of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, confirmed that Sana’a now possesses an advanced arsenal that many countries do not have, with missile power being the cornerstone of this advanced and effective military buildup.
In a televised speech on the occasion of what the Sana’a government calls the 10th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, Al-Houthi stated, “The military capabilities developed within the framework of the blessed revolution have reached a significant and important level.”
He emphasized that “the great challenges faced by the Yemeni people have contributed to the building of these military capabilities.”
Al-Houthi further explained, “We possess an advanced military arsenal that many countries do not have, and missile power is the core of this advanced and effective structure. The missile strength of our country serves as a powerful military arm for our people in confronting their enemies and the enemies of the nation.”
He continued by stating that “Yemen has made significant advancements in the fields of drone technology and naval power, in addition to forming and developing ground forces and producing the necessary requirements.”
Al-Houthi stressed the importance of building military capabilities, affirming, “Without building, developing, and possessing the military and security power to deter the enemy, there will be no protection for any other form of development.”
He added, “If we focus on economic development without military capabilities, the enemy will move militarily and destroy everything we have, as they did in the past.”
Al-Houthi affirmed that “building military and security capabilities is the means to protect achievements and the economic structure, and above all, to safeguard the country’s sovereignty from occupation.”
He also pointed to the success of the Yemeni people in “repelling the enemies and preventing them from occupying the entire country, which helped preserve the strategic depth.” He emphasized that “any areas the enemy has managed to occupy must eventually be liberated.”
Al-Houthi noted that “the Americans sought to control Yemen’s military capabilities, attempting to limit them and keep them at a level that posed no threat or obstacle to them, in addition to changing the military doctrine to serve their interests.”
He explained that “the military formations built by the coalition of aggression were primarily aimed at enabling the enemies to occupy the country.”
Al-Houthi reiterated Yemen’s continued support for Palestine, noting “the increasing capabilities of Yemen that will escalate the situation and deliver more painful blows to the criminal Zionist enemy.”
He affirmed, “Our stance on supporting the resistance remains firm and unwavering, and we strive for greater efforts to support the Palestinian people, Hezbollah, and all the free people.”
Al-Houthi also highlighted that “the missile strike on Jaffa (Tel Aviv) was impactful and shook the enemy, marking a significant achievement in the context of fulfilling the requirements of the fifth stage.”
He added, “This type of operation will be repeated and continued, and we aim for even greater actions. This is a message indicating that more painful operations await the Zionist enemy.” He also mentioned that “the downing of American MQ-9 drones is a significant achievement in the confrontation with the enemies.”
