Missiles and Drones: Houthi Military Operation Reveals Unexpected Power

NYN | News

Sana’a forces announced the execution of a joint military operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and several accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea.

The operation successfully achieved its objectives, striking the carrier and multiple naval targets using cruise missiles and drones.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the official spokesperson for Sana’a forces, stated moments ago that the attack was launched in response to U.S. attempts to target Yemen. He confirmed that this marks the sixth attack on the U.S. carrier since its arrival in the region.

Saree added that the operation was conducted in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and their fighters and as a response to the massacres committed against their brothers in Gaza. He further noted that this action is part of Yemen’s retaliation against ongoing U.S.-British aggression on the country.

In its statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized their full readiness for any escalation by the U.S. or Israel. They reiterated their commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian people and declared that their operations will continue until the aggression stops and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
