Sana’a issued a strong warning to both Saudi Arabia and the UAE, threatening a decisive military response to any escalation targeting Yemen, in a move that redraws the power equations in the region.
This warning came during an intense interview with Houthi (Ansar Allah) leader Mohammed al-Bukhaiti on Iranian television, where he delivered direct messages indicating that any targeting of Yemen’s infrastructure would be met with the destruction of vital facilities in both Gulf countries.
Al-Bukhaiti stated that any military escalation or attack on Yemen’s infrastructure would face a harsh military response targeting critical installations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
He emphasized that Sana’a forces had succeeded in breaking the U.S. influence in the Red Sea, and that the U.S.-British-Israeli coalition had failed to break Yemen’s will or achieve its objectives. He added that Saudi Arabia and the UAE should take this into account.
He further warned, saying: “We send a clear warning: Targeting Yemen’s infrastructure means opening a similar destruction front against Saudi and UAE installations, and we will not hesitate to do so.”
Al-Bukhaiti’s warning was not a mere statement, but came amid a heated regional scene, driven by U.S. policies in the region aimed at redrawing the crisis map to serve the interests of the Israeli entity.
