Extraordinary Alert in Sana’a… Indicators of a Major Event?

NYN | News

The Sana’a government has received high-level instructions to be on alert and raise its readiness in anticipation of sudden developments. This came during a speech by the leader of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, this evening, in which he confirmed that the Yemeni people, with God’s help, have moved to support the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, in one of the most significant rounds of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” battle. He emphasized that the situation in Gaza is under close monitoring and that the Israeli occupation is evading its full commitments, particularly regarding humanitarian issues and withdrawal from the Rafah area. He described Israel’s evasion of withdrawal from Rafah as a “serious violation” of agreements, a U.S.-backed coup, noting that this poses a direct threat to the Palestinian people, as well as to Egypt—its government, people, and army. He also pointed out that the Israeli occupation has not completed its withdrawal from southern Lebanon, which poses a threat to the Lebanese people and violates their sovereignty, in addition to continuing its expansion in three southern Syrian provinces. The Houthi leader accused Israel of attempting to impose a state of impunity on the region, supported by the U.S. stance, asserting that the Israeli entity assumes it should not face opposition in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, or even Egypt, despite its violations of agreements, especially concerning the dispatch of Egyptian military reinforcements to Sinai. In escalating his threatening tone, he emphasized that true deterrence against the Israelis and Americans can only be achieved through “correct positions” and military readiness, noting that the United States and Israel are dealing with the Muslim nation “with unprecedented arrogance,” particularly on the Gaza issue. He stated that former U.S. President Donald Trump wanted to deport Gaza’s population and set a final deadline for the release of Israeli prisoners, threatening to open a war on Saturday if his demands were not met. The Houthi leader clarified that Sana’a’s forces were “ready for military intervention” if Trump carried out his threat, adding that they are facing an unprecedented level of arrogance, tyranny, aggression, and criminality from the U.S. and Israel. He called for maintaining full readiness, developing military capabilities, and preparing for intervention at any time to protect Palestine, Lebanon, and any people in the nation facing aggression. He concluded his speech by stating that the threats facing the Palestinians affect the entire nation, warning that developments in the West Bank might require comprehensive action, and emphasizing that the battle is not over yet. He urged to stay on high alert and be prepared for any upcoming escalation.
