Sana’a Sets the Countdown for Confronting Israel

NYN | News

After 24 hours had passed since the deadline set by Houthi leader (Ansar Allah) Abdul-Malik al-Houthi for Israel to lift its blockade on the Gaza Strip, the Sana’a forces confirmed their readiness to resume naval operations against Israel if the conditions for humanitarian aid were not met.

The Sana’a government announced that the armed forces are fully prepared to resume maritime operations against Israeli ships, asserting that these operations are a religious and moral duty after the expiration of the four-day deadline given to mediators to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.

In an official statement, the Sana’a government held the Israeli entity fully responsible for the resumption of military operations and all the consequences resulting from the continued blockade of Gaza and the refusal to allow humanitarian aid, emphasizing that the blockade constitutes a blatant violation of human rights.

Houthi leader (Ansar Allah) had announced on Friday evening a four-day deadline for Israel to adhere to agreements with the Palestinian resistance, lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip, and allow food and humanitarian aid to reach the civilians trapped in Gaza.
