Disbursement begins in Sana’a and neighboring governorates

The General Authority for Insurance and Pensions, affiliated with the Sana’a government, announced today, Thursday, the start of disbursing the first half of the June 2021 pension to civilian retirees, through post office branches in the Capital Secretariat of Sana’a and a number of neighboring governorates.

Exceptional mechanism to support salaries

The Authority explained that the disbursement comes within the framework of a temporary exceptional mechanism aimed at supporting the state wage bill and addressing the situation of small depositors, in accordance with Law No. (2) of the year 1446 AH.

Twelve disbursements annually to enhance living stability

For his part, the Authority’s Chairman, Ibrahim Al-Haifi, confirmed that the approved mechanism ensures regular payment of retirement pensions through the implementation of 12 disbursement cycles annually, contributing to improved living stability for civilian retirees.

Call to beneficiaries

The Authority called on all beneficiaries to head to Yemen Post branches carrying their personal identification and pension cards to ensure the smooth and speedy receipt of their entitlements.
