Washington continues to commit crimes against Yemeni civilians amid total international silence and the UN’s inability to rein in its ongoing aggression.
Early Sunday, the Ministry of Health in the Sana’a government announced that the number of victims from the U.S. airstrikes targeting the Hafseen area, west of Saada city in northern Yemen, had risen to two martyrs and four injured civilians.
According to the Ministry’s statement, U.S. warplanes launched a series of air raids on Saturday evening targeting a commercial facility specializing in the sale of solar energy equipment. The strikes caused massive fires that completely destroyed the facility.
The Ministry added that civil defense teams rushed to the site immediately, launching rescue operations to recover victims from under the rubble, extinguish the fires, and transport the injured to medical facilities for treatment.
This crime is part of a notable escalation occurring in the Yemeni provinces under the control of the Sana’a government, as U.S. airstrikes have intensified in recent days due to Yemen’s position in support of the Gaza Strip.
