Sana’a and Marib Set Aside Differences for a Common Cause

NYN | News

A women’s march was held on Thursday in the city of Marib in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Participants called on the international community and the International Criminal Court to take immediate action to stop the genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in the enclave.

The participants demanded accountability for the Israeli leaders involved in these crimes and accused the UN Security Council and international organizations of double standards and silence in the face of ongoing massacres.

They held signs calling for an end to the genocide and ethnic cleansing that Gaza’s population is enduring due to Israeli attacks.

Palestinian flags were raised as demonstrators urged Arab and Islamic countries to take concrete steps to show seriousness in supporting the Palestinian people amidst Israel’s genocide, carried out through killing, blockade, and starvation.

The protest called on the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to intervene immediately to halt Israeli crimes against Palestinians, warning against continued international silence in the face of such grave violations.

They also demanded the lifting of the siege on Gaza and the urgent delivery of humanitarian and relief aid to those affected.

Tomorrow, Sanaa is set to witness a large-scale demonstration in support of the Palestinian resistance and people in Gaza, with thousands expected to take part in a major event expressing full solidarity with Palestinians amid Israeli aggression.

Observers see these demonstrations as a sign of the importance of uniting Yemeni ranks to confront internal and external challenges, reflecting a unified popular stance in support of just causes.
