This evening, Sana’a forces launched a new precision strike deep into Israeli territory. A drone successfully reached the city of Eilat (Umm Al-Rashrash) in the south of the occupied lands, causing a violent explosion and fires in a crowded tourist area.
According to footage circulating on social media platforms, the moment of the drone’s impact in the heart of the city was documented, showing flames rising and screams of panic among settlers. The Israeli army’s air defenses failed to intercept the drone, despite launching two interceptor missiles.
Israeli army radio acknowledged the failure, confirming that attempts to shoot down the drone were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, Israel’s “Kan” TV channel reported that the attack injured 24 settlers with varying degrees of wounds, some of whom were transferred to Eilat Hospital amid a state of medical and security emergency.
In the same context, Israeli media reported that increasing pressure on the city’s hospital prompted authorities to prepare for transferring the injured via helicopters to hospitals in central occupied territories within half an hour.
The Hebrew newspaper “Hadshot B’zman” revealed that the Israeli navy withdrew all its vessels from ports in the area in anticipation of potential additional attacks.
This operation is considered one of the most painful strikes against the Israeli entity in recent times, once again highlighting the capability of Sana’a forces to penetrate defense systems and reach deep into sensitive areas in the occupied south.
