The Red Sea witnessed a fierce battle in recent hours between the Sana’a forces and the U.S. Navy.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the armed forces loyal to Sana’a, confirmed the execution of targeted military operations against Israeli and American objectives, in response to ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people and U.S. attacks on Yemen.
In an official statement this evening, Brigadier General Saree explained that the Sana’a air force carried out a military operation targeting an Israeli military facility in the occupied Yafa area, using a “Yafa” drone, in a victory for the suffering Palestinian people and their fighters, and as a response to the continued genocide against their brothers in Gaza.
Regarding the ongoing U.S. aggression against Yemen, the statement noted that the naval and air forces carried out a joint operation targeting two American destroyers in the Red Sea using several cruise missiles and drones.
Brigadier General Saree emphasized that these operations are a response to the crimes being committed against the Yemeni people, pointing out that targeting civilian sites in several provinces confirms the failure of the enemy to achieve its goals.
He stressed that these crimes will only increase the Yemeni people’s resilience and their firm stance in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, affirming that this support will continue until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.
