Sanaa forces have just announced a new military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport (Lod) in Tel Aviv (“occupied Jaffa”), using a “Palestine-2” hypersonic ballistic missile, as part of what they described as a response to the genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In a statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for Sanaa forces, said the operation successfully achieved its objective by the grace of God, resulting in the suspension of airport activity and the flight of thousands of settlers to shelters.
The statement reaffirmed the continuation of military operations carried out by Sanaa forces in support of the Palestinian resistance and in protest against the blockade imposed on Gaza. It emphasized that Yemen is fulfilling its national, religious, and humanitarian duty toward the Palestinian people, despite the blockade and the challenges it faces.
Saree added: “Our operations will continue until the blockade is lifted and the aggression against Gaza stops,” stressing that Sanaa forces rely on God’s support and victory and will not abandon their duty to stand with the oppressed.
This operation comes as part of an ongoing military escalation by Sanaa, under what it calls the “Battle of Awareness” and support for Palestine. In recent months, Sanaa has previously announced similar strikes targeting Israeli ports and airports.
