The number of civilian casualties continues to rise due to U.S. airstrikes targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructure across several Yemeni provinces.
On Sunday evening, U.S. warplanes launched new airstrikes on the capital, Sana’a, in a clear escalation that highlights the ongoing targeting of civilians and densely populated homes.
Local sources reported that the strikes hit a house in the Sha’ab al-Hafa area of the Shu’ub district, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries—a new crime added to the growing record of violations committed against the Yemeni people.
Earlier, the U.S. coalition committed another horrific act by bombing a solar energy shop in the Hafseen area of Sa’ada Governorate, killing two civilians and injuring nine others with varying degrees of wounds.
These American attacks are part of a series of air raids targeting residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law, amid a disturbing international silence.
