A New Wave of U.S. Airstrikes Causes Massive Material Losses

NYN | News

U.S. warplanes have just launched intense airstrikes on residential and vital areas in various Yemeni provinces, resulting in extensive destruction of infrastructure and civilian properties. This has sparked local outrage over the escalating U.S. military aggression, which disregards the most basic principles of international law.

In Sanaa, the airstrikes targeted Sanaa International Airport with two powerful strikes, followed by scattered attacks on the Tahrir area in the city center, Al-Sittin Street in the west, and the Haziz area in the south. The strikes caused severe damage to homes and properties, while the loud explosions instilled fear among women and children.

In Saada, according to local sources, the U.S. assault included five airstrikes on the Al-Asaid area in the Kitaf district and two strikes on the Al-Salem district, destroying agricultural lands and threatening farmers’ livelihoods.

Meanwhile, in Hodeidah, U.S. warplanes carried out three airstrikes on the Al-Luhayyah district.

For over a year, Washington has continued its airstrike policy in Yemen under various pretexts, including the protection of international shipping. However, in reality, these U.S. attacks serve to protect the Israeli entity.
