As an Arab Muslim, as a refugee from the Gaza Strip, and finally, as a human being, I pose a question to all Arab leaders—particularly two groups:
The first: the leaders of countries that signed normalization agreements, established diplomatic and commercial relations with the enemy, and raised the Star of David flag in the heart of their capitals.
The second: the leaders of the three countries—Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates—who lavishly welcomed former U.S. President Donald Trump, rolled out carpets in all colors for him, and granted him $5 trillion to prevent financial and economic collapse in his country, allowing it to repay installments and interest on its $43 trillion debt.
The question is: Are you following the Israeli Nazi-style massacres being committed in Gaza, where at least 100 martyrs fall each day and hundreds are wounded every morning? Have you heard of the children and women in the refugee camps whose frail bodies are burned nightly—by the dozens, even hundreds—by Israeli drone missiles, as they starve?
Have you seen or heard of the “death traps” set by occupation forces for the hungry who flock to food distribution centers in a desperate attempt to escape starvation, only to be met with Israeli bullets, bombs, and drones, returning to their families wrapped in white shrouds soaked in their blood?
On this Thursday, the day I write this article, 94 Arab Muslims were martyred by Israeli gunfire before noon—including women and children, and 44 who were simply hungry, waiting for a piece of bread in front of a so-called “humanitarian organization” jointly run by the U.S. and Israel—an entity that has nothing to do with humanity, and everything to do with death.
We do not ask you to send your armies, planes, or tanks. We ask only that you call your dear friend Donald Trump—whom you handed trillions to in under two hours, by his own admission—and tell him: stop these massacres immediately. Their continuation, at this scale, is a disgrace to you, to us, and to all of humanity. We gave you (Trump and Netanyahu) all the time you needed to carry out genocide, and you failed. Enough.
We know full well that the leaders of all these countries—those normalized with Israel, those beholden to the U.S., those who believe in “wisdom,” “moderation,” and the cowardly “balance of power” theory, and those who give away trillions with nothing in return—will not dare to meet our request. They won’t hear our names or those of the millions like us. They won’t whisper, let alone warn or threaten, Trump to stop the slaughter—choosing instead to look away, so they don’t see the faces or bodies of the martyred victims.
Our only consolation is that our people in Gaza—who possess an immense reserve of courage, dignity, faith, and self-respect—will never run dry. They face the Nazi occupation and its forces every day, competing for the honor of martyrdom. Live footage confirms this truth.
One final warning: do not dare barter normalization for an end to the massacres and genocide in Gaza. We know, from the bitter experiences of those before you, that normalization will continue, treason will deepen, and the massacres will not stop—they will expand, reaching your countries and your people in the end.
Congratulations on your new Middle East, a region whose future and borders are now drawn by your “friends” Netanyahu and his servant Trump. Know that you will not be treated as guardians, but as slaves and servants. And remember: it won’t be history that holds you accountable—it will be the honorable people of your nations, the overwhelming majority. And at the right time, which we see as very near.
Say what you will… time will tell.
