A kidnapping incident involving a 12-year-old boy in a residential neighborhood in the city of Aden today caused widespread fear and confusion among residents, after an armed, masked group carried out a coordinated and swift break-in that shocked everyone.
According to the information, ten individuals stormed the home of the boy’s uncle at gunpoint before seizing the child by force and fleeing to an unknown location, leaving family members and neighbors stunned and unable to intervene.
Security sources explained that the perpetrators used three unlicensed vehicles in their escape—one a white 2013 Prado, another a gray 2006 Corolla, and the third a white 2006 Santa Fe—without specifying the exact location of the incident.
According to security media, authorities launched a large-scale deployment immediately after receiving the report, circulating descriptions of the vehicles to all security checkpoints in Aden and the routes leading to neighboring governorates, in addition to opening a wide-ranging investigation to uncover the circumstances and motives behind the operation.
