The leader of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, launched a scathing attack this afternoon on the United States and Israel, while also directing unprecedented criticism toward several Arab and Islamic regimes. He accused them of providing Israel with economic and logistical support despite what he described as the “genocide in Gaza.”
In his televised speech, Al-Houthi stated that images of children in Gaza reduced to skeletal figures are a disgrace to humanity. He added that these scenes expose the hypocrisy of those in the West who claim to uphold civilization and human rights, accusing Western governments of leading a criminal project under the guise of liberal values.
Criticizing the airdrop of humanitarian aid, Al-Houthi described it as a “propaganda ploy” that ultimately serves Israel. He claimed that the enemy delivers aid to areas where Palestinians are killed as soon as they approach it, arguing instead that aid should be allowed through land crossings and distributed under UN supervision.
He emphasized that the only obstacle preventing aid from reaching Gaza is the Israeli enemy, warning that Israel is deliberately obstructing the organization of aid distribution.
Al-Houthi noted that the planes bombing Gaza carry American-made bombs, and the tanks invading the Strip run on Arab fuel.
He accused certain Arab regimes—chiefly Saudi Arabia—of opening their airspace and airports to Israeli aircraft, and even seeking to compensate Israel economically for the effects of the naval blockade imposed on it.
He stated: “Arab regimes are sending hundreds of thousands of tons [of goods] to Israel while Gaza’s children starve.”
He went on to say that some of these governments not only suppress popular demonstrations in support of Palestine but also label Gaza’s resistance fighters as terrorists. He called for this classification to be immediately revoked and urged full support for the Palestinian resistance.
Regarding the Palestinian Authority, Al-Houthi accused it of failing to protect its people and even cooperating with the enemy in the arrest of resistance fighters. He pointed to intelligence coordination between Israel and several Arab governments.
Al-Houthi concluded his speech by warning against reliance on diplomatic solutions without taking practical steps. He stressed that Israel will not cease its crimes unless confronted with decisive stances, asserting that regional stability now depends on ending American and Western support for Israel.
