Al-Houthi Opens Files on the Hidden War

NYN | News

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, delivered a televised speech this evening on the occasion of the second anniversary of the assault on the Gaza Strip. In his address, he reviewed the developments of the war and the accompanying violations against civilians, affirming that what occurred constitutes the greatest genocide of this era.

Al-Houthi stated that the Israeli entity has carried out, over the past two years, an assault that is the most brutal and tyrannical, pointing out that since its inception, it has maintained a continuous state of aggression against the Palestinian people. He emphasized the use of destructive and incendiary American bombs deliberately targeting civilians, with women and children making up the majority of the victims.

He added that the Israeli aggression imposed total starvation and systematic thirst, making access to water or baby formula among the most dangerous and difficult daily tasks in Gaza. He noted that the bombing destroyed water wells and sewage networks and targeted those bringing water to their families, including children.

Al-Houthi confirmed that the attacks included the destruction of hospitals, the killing of medical personnel, and the targeting of premature infants, in a systematic attempt to exterminate the Palestinian people and deprive them of healthcare. He pointed out that the aggression destroyed entire residential neighborhoods and used forced displacement as a primary tactic from the very first day of the war, leading to the repeated displacement of hundreds of thousands of residents without stability.

He explained that nearly 11% of Gaza’s population has been killed or injured over the two-year period—a rate unprecedented in modern history—stressing that what happened constitutes the crime of the age and the century by all standards.

He also noted that the Israeli entity targeted more than 1,000 mosques, 95% of schools, and 40 cemeteries, and stole nearly 2,000 bodies, in addition to targeting journalists and humanitarian workers.

In another context, the Ansar Allah leader stated that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation was a turning point in the history of the conflict with the Israeli entity. He explained that it came in the context of 75 years of Zionist crimes and ongoing occupation of the Palestinian people, and as a natural response to the American-Israeli agenda that aimed to liquidate the Palestinian cause.

He clarified that the Israeli entity has, since its establishment, sought to impose full control over Palestine and then move on to implement its well-known project of “Greater Israel,” which targets the region’s sovereignty and resources in service of American and Israeli interests.

He added that the Zionist plan is not limited to Palestine, but extends to making the Arab region a base for achieving far-reaching global objectives. He pointed out that Arab normalization with the Israeli entity represents the most dangerous phase of this plan, in which slogans such as “peace” and “Middle East transformation” have been used to mobilize Arab regimes against their own peoples.

Al-Houthi criticized the stances of certain Arab regimes that have refused even to sever ties with the Israeli entity despite the scale of crimes committed in Gaza, describing the continuation of such relations as a humanitarian and moral disgrace, beyond being a political betrayal.

He noted that non-Arab countries, purely on humanitarian grounds, have severed relations with the Israeli entity in solidarity with the Palestinian people. He considered acceptance of the liquidation of the Palestinian cause and the relinquishment of Islamic holy sites a major disaster that strikes at the heart of the nation’s identity and its strategic interests.

Al-Houthi concluded his speech by affirming that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” was not an isolated event, but a decisive moment in confronting a Zionist-American colonial project seeking to subjugate the entire region. He called for the prosecution of those responsible for war crimes in Gaza, as these constitute crimes against humanity.
