Breaking: Government forces in Sana’a announce the execution of a series of operations against American and Israeli ships in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.

Government forces in Sana’a announced on Wednesday evening the execution of a series of attacks against American and Israeli commercial and warships.

According to a statement issued by the spokesperson for the Sana’a government forces, Yahya Saree, posted on his account on the “X” platform, it stated: “The naval forces carried out a military operation targeting the American ship (MAERSK YORKTOWN) in the Gulf of Aden, using a number of suitable naval missiles, and the strike was precise,” according to the statement.

The statement also mentioned that a US war destroyer was targeted in the Gulf of Aden and an Israeli ship named (MSC VERACRUZ) in the Indian Ocean in separate operations using drones, stating that “both operations successfully achieved their objectives.”

The statement stated that these operations were in response to the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza and what it described as the “American-British aggression on our country.”

It reiterated that their operations continue to prevent “Israeli navigation or any ships heading to occupied Palestine in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean,” indicating that the cessation of operations by the Sana’a government forces is conditional on the cessation of aggression and the siege on Gaza, as stated in the statement.
