Breaking: “Sanaa” Forces: This Will Be Our Response to Israeli Aggression, and We Will Not Hesitate

NYN | News

The Sanaa government forces have vowed to strike vital Israeli targets in response to the airstrikes on civilian facilities in Hodeidah and have reiterated that “the Yaffa area remains unsafe.”

In a statement, the spokesperson for Sanaa forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said: “The Israeli enemy launched a brutal aggression on Hodeidah province, targeting the power station that supplies electricity to the coastal city of Hodeidah, as well as the port and fuel tanks, all of which are civilian targets.”

He added, “The Yemeni armed forces affirm that they will respond to this blatant aggression and, with God’s help, will not hesitate to strike the Israeli enemy’s vital targets, confirming what was stated in their previous declaration about considering the occupied Yaffa area unsafe.”

He continued, “The Yemeni armed forces, under the guidance of their faithful leadership and with the support of all free and steadfast Yemeni people, will not cease their supportive operations for our brothers in Gaza, regardless of the consequences or outcomes. With God’s help, they are preparing for a long war against this enemy until the aggression stops, the blockade is lifted, and all crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza cease,” the statement said.

The statement further noted, “The Israeli aggression on Yemen requires all members of the nation to move seriously in support of the Palestinian cause, reject Israeli aggression, and stand for the blood of the oppressed in Gaza.”

It concluded, “The great Yemeni people, with their leadership and armed forces, will overcome this challenge with God’s help, as they have overcome past challenges over the years.”

Meanwhile, the United States quickly announced its non-participation in the airstrikes on Hodeidah. According to Qatar’s Al Jazeera, the New York Times quoted American officials stating that the United States did not militarily participate in the Israeli strike on Yemen.

The Ministry of Health in the Sanaa government announced that the Israeli airstrikes on Hodeidah resulted in “martyrs and injured” citizens.

The ministry confirmed in a statement published by the media that “martyrs and injured” were caused by the Israeli airstrikes on oil storage facilities in the port of Hodeidah, noting that several citizens suffered “severe burns.”

Earlier, Al-Masirah TV, affiliated with the Houthi movement “Ansar Allah,” reported that “Israeli airstrikes on the city of Hodeidah targeted oil storage facilities in the port, the electricity station of Hodeidah province, and the diesel storage tanks.”
