The British Daily Express reported a significant shift in the military balance in Yemen.
The newspaper explained in a report that the expertise gained by Sana’a forces through their prolonged conflict with the Saudi-led military coalition has transformed them into a professional military power capable of executing impactful attacks against Western interests.
The report highlighted that Sana’a’s military operations, particularly naval attacks, have demonstrated remarkable ability to disrupt U.S. and allied forces, despite intensive efforts to stop them. It described the situation in Yemen as “out of control.”
The report also focused on the battle in the Red Sea, calling it a “disaster” for the United States, as it drains American military resources and distracts attention from other strategic priorities in regions such as the Indo-Pacific, where tensions with major powers are increasing.
Since January, the United States and Britain have sought to undermine the capabilities of Sana’a forces through airstrikes. However, these efforts have not succeeded, as Sana’a’s government continues its operations against Israeli ships or vessels linked to Israel in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
