The leader of Ansar Allah, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, delivered a speech on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Palestinian commander Yahya al-Sinwar, in which he emphasized that al-Sinwar symbolizes resilience and sacrifice. He noted that the values and awareness he embodied in the field of jihad represent an inspiring school for future generations.
Al-Houthi also announced the martyrdom of Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces under the Sanaa-based government. He praised Al-Ghamari’s significant role in supporting Gaza, affirming that the Yemeni armed forces have offered their personnel as a sacrifice to God, within the framework of an official and popular stance free from American constraints.
In assessing the confrontation with the Israeli occupation, Al-Houthi stated that the enemy had failed to achieve its objectives despite American and Western support. He noted that Israel was only able to recover its captives through a prisoner exchange deal, asserting that the will of the Palestinian people and their resistance fighters remains unbroken despite the scale of brutality.
He also condemned ongoing Israeli violations — from the killing of Palestinian civilians to the reduction of humanitarian aid — describing the occupation as a criminal enemy that adheres to neither values nor laws.
Al-Houthi expressed hope that the ceasefire would hold, allowing for broad international support for the reconstruction of Gaza.
Turning to regional fronts, he highlighted Iraq’s front as a major concern for the Israeli enemy, and acknowledged the steadfast support of the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting aggression. He claimed that Israel failed in its 12-day war against Iran.
Al-Houthi stressed that the Yemeni support front has been marked by a comprehensive official and popular mobilization, free from American influence. He pointed to the unprecedented popular momentum in Yemen, with weekly mass demonstrations continuing for two years.
In a tribute to media professionals, he praised their role in countering Zionist propaganda, calling for continued improvement in media performance. He stressed that media represents a critical front in the conflict with the enemy.
Al-Houthi also reviewed the successes of Yemeni naval and missile operations, noting that the American and British aggression against Yemen failed to halt these operations — despite deploying the latest weaponry and five aircraft carriers.
He stated that these carriers had become a burden for the United States, which was ultimately forced to withdraw from the theater of confrontation.
On the security front, Al-Houthi revealed the presence of dangerous spy cells working for the enemy, some of which are affiliated with humanitarian organizations such as the World Food Programme (WFP) and UNICEF.
He confirmed the possession of conclusive evidence implicating these cells in tracking and targeting a meeting of the Yemeni government, stressing that such activities differ from American death traps in Gaza only in appearance.
Al-Houthi concluded his speech by reaffirming that the Yemeni people remain steadfast and resolute. He stated that sacrifices do not weaken their capabilities but rather strengthen their position, production, and contribution. He called for vigilance and continued preparedness in facing any developments.
