Yemeni support operations for the Palestinian resistance have witnessed a significant escalation on all fronts, according to Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah). He announced that the past week saw the execution of 45 high-level military operations, utilizing ballistic and hypersonic missiles, drones, and naval vessels, as part of what he described as a sacred jihad in support of the Palestinian people.
In a speech delivered today, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi stated:
“By God’s grace, this week’s strikes ranged from the depths of the Red Sea to deep inside occupied Palestine, targeting key sites in Jaffa, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Umm al-Rashrash. The most notable was this morning’s operation, which temporarily suspended flights at Lod Airport (Ben Gurion), causing mass panic and sending millions of Israelis into shelters.”
Notable Naval Strikes and a Firm Yemeni Position
In an unprecedented escalation, the Ansar Allah leader confirmed the sinking of two ships belonging to maritime companies that violated the ban issued by the Sanaa government on navigation toward the port of Eilat (Umm al-Rashrash). He noted that these companies mistakenly believed they could escape consequences or bypass Yemen’s firm stance.
He added:
“The naval operations were carried out in joint coordination between the naval forces, missile units, and drones. They were a direct response to Israel’s attempts to gradually reactivate the port of Eilat using companies that challenge the existing ban. The decision to prohibit maritime traffic to the Zionist entity remains in effect and will be enforced at all stages. No breaches will be tolerated.”
Firm Message to Shipping Companies: No Neutrality with the Zionist Entity
Al-Houthi emphasized that any maritime shipping company providing services to Israel within the declared theater of operations would be dealt with harshly.
“What happened in the Red Sea is a clear message: there are no exceptions during this time of aggression on Gaza. Every colluding vessel is a legitimate target.”
A Steadfast Faith-Based Stance Against Aggression and Global Betrayal
Touching on the humanitarian and moral dimension of the conflict, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi affirmed that Yemen’s position on Gaza is not merely political, but a religious, moral, and principled one that cannot be compromised.
“As the Yemeni people, we are clear-sighted and ready for sacrifices. We do not measure this battle by its cost, but by the righteousness of our cause and the steadfastness of our patience.”
He sharply criticized the world’s silence in the face of the suffering of over a million people in Gaza:
“We are living in an era where global conscience has died—children starve while food and water convoys are blocked just a stone’s throw away, as the West continues to preach civilization and humanity.”
He described the situation as the greatest moral scandal of the modern international community, warning against the illusion of peace or alliance with “the Israeli entity,” saying:
“All false assumptions about coexistence or normalization with the Israeli enemy are invalid, contrary to reality and to the Quran.”
