Since the end of November 2023 until today, the port of Eilat has received only two to three ships, and the port is losing between 6 and 10 million shekels per month as a result of the Houthis preventing Israeli and Israel-linked ships from crossing the Red Sea.

There is no activity in the port and we received compensation for the months of November and December that does not even cover employees’ wages
