Drug Pills in Flour Bags: A Crime Disguised as Aid

NYN | News

The Israeli machinery of oppression continues to commit horrific violations against Palestinians, employing a range of methods including killing, displacement, and starvation.

On Friday, the Government Media Office in Gaza announced the discovery of drug pills hidden inside flour bags delivered through what it described as “American-Israeli aid centers,” in an incident that has sparked widespread shock in local communities.

The office described the incident as a “heinous crime” targeting the health of civilians, and as a systematic attempt to undermine the fabric of Palestinian society. It held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the incident.

Official bodies have urged citizens to exercise caution when receiving food supplies from such centers and to immediately report any suspicious or unfamiliar materials to the relevant authorities. They noted that this incident is part of ongoing attempts to infiltrate Palestinian society with harmful substances through deceptive means.

This event marks a dangerous precedent in the level of deceit and manipulation practiced by Israel against Palestinians, turning humanitarian aid into a systematic tool to undermine social structures and spread addiction among the most vulnerable groups.

It is a moral crime par excellence, revealing a new dimension of the unconventional war that targets the Palestinian people — their lives, their health, and their values.
