The Sanaa-based forces announced today, Wednesday, the execution of a strategic operation in the Red Sea, during which they targeted a commercial vessel named ETERNITY C en route to the port of Eilat (Umm Al-Rashrash) in the occupied Palestinian territories. They confirmed that the operation was carried out in response to the ship’s continued dealings with Israeli ports and as part of their military campaign in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In an official statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Sanaa forces, stated that the operation was conducted using a booby-trapped unmanned boat and six cruise and ballistic missiles, which led to the complete sinking of the vessel. He confirmed that the operation was documented both visually and audibly.
Saree added that special units from the Yemeni navy were dispatched after the attack to rescue several members of the ship’s crew and provide them with medical care, noting that they were transferred to a safe location for their protection.
The statement explained that the ship had ignored multiple warnings and repeated notices from the Sanaa forces and had resumed dealings with Israeli ports in clear violation of the blockade order announced by Yemeni forces several months ago.
The Sanaa forces reiterated their commitment to banning all maritime activity linked to the Israeli entity in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, renewing their warning to all companies and countries against sending vessels to the ports of occupied Palestine. They declared that any ship violating the ban will be considered a legitimate target—regardless of its identity or destination.
The statement emphasized that this operation is part of a broader military campaign to pressure the Israeli occupationto halt its aggression on the Gaza Strip and lift the siege imposed on over two million people in the enclave. It reaffirmed continued military support for the Palestinian resistance until the legitimate demands of the Palestinian people are fulfilled.
Brigadier Saree concluded his statement by affirming that Gaza is no longer alone, but rather the cause of an entire nation, and that the Sanaa forces will continue carrying out military operations until the aggression stops and the suffering of the Palestinian people is alleviated.
