Informed sources revealed to “Yemen New News” that a decision has been made to open the Al-Qasr Junction – Taiz City road continuously, 24 hours a day, starting Thursday morning.
This decision comes after months of partial restrictions on traffic through this road, which is a vital artery connecting major areas in Taiz Governorate.
The sources confirmed that the continuous opening of the road aims to facilitate commercial and civilian transport, and alleviate the daily suffering of residents who have faced difficulties in movement due to previous closures.
The decision is also expected to contribute to enhancing trade exchanges between the regions connected by the road, especially given the challenging humanitarian and economic conditions in the governorate.
