Footage of the Yemeni Missile That Ended the Journey of the “Eternity C” Vessel

NYN | News

On Wednesday, the Sanaa-based forces released video footage documenting the moment the commercial vessel Eternity Cwas struck and completely sunk while en route to the port of Eilat (Umm al-Rashrash) in the southern part of the occupied Palestinian territories. The attack is part of an ongoing series of military operations targeting maritime traffic linked to Israel in the Red Sea.

According to the footage broadcast by Sanaa’s military media, repeated warnings were issued to the ship’s captain, urging him to evacuate the crew as the vessel approached a designated naval exclusion zone. The forces also offered assistance with evacuation via a nearby ship. However, the captain ignored the warnings, prompting a precision missile strike.

The footage showed the launch of naval ballistic missiles and a cruise missile, which hit the ship’s hull with precision. This resulted in columns of smoke rising and water flooding into the vessel, eventually leading to its complete submersion.

A formal statement issued by the Sanaa forces confirmed that the ship’s crew was rescued and provided with medical care after being transferred to a safe location. The operation was described as a response to the vessel’s violation of the naval blockade imposed on ships heading to Israeli ports.

The Eternity C is the second ship to be sunk within 48 hours. On the previous day, Sanaa forces also released documented footage of their strike on the Greek vessel Magic Seas, after it allegedly ignored warnings and proceeded toward an Israeli port.

The Sanaa forces reaffirmed their commitment to continuing operations against vessels that violate the blockade, as part of what they call an “open battle against the Zionist entity and its maritime interests.” They stressed that any ship dealing with Israeli ports is considered a legitimate target at any time and in any location.
