From Condemnation Statements to a Strategy of Foolishness: Harsh Attack on Arab Positions

NYN | News

The leader of the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis), Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, delivered a televised speech in which he addressed the latest developments in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip as well as regional and international updates. He affirmed that what is happening to the Palestinian people is “the crime of the century,” which has been ongoing for over 700 days, amid what he described as “shameful” Arab and international silence.

Systematic Genocide

Al-Houthi stated that the Israeli aggression on Gaza has entered its 703rd day, resulting in the deaths of over 20,000 children and 12,500 women, in addition to the complete erasure of 2,700 families from the civil registry.

He pointed out that the occupation is committing all forms of genocide — including bombing, starvation, dehydration, forced displacement, and the destruction of infrastructure, with up to 90% of urban areas leveled. He emphasized that Israel “seeks to erase all signs of life in Gaza.”

Targeting Humans and Holy Sites

Al-Houthi stressed that the occupation does not differentiate between groups, targeting children, women, the elderly, doctors, hospitals, and even educational institutions — completely halting the educational process.

He also noted the destruction of hundreds of mosques and the continuous assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque through storming and excavation activities, “in preparation for building the so-called Temple.”

West Bank, Syria, and Lebanon in the Crosshairs

In his speech, al-Houthi warned that “Zionist criminality is not confined to Gaza,” clarifying that the West Bank is witnessing daily demolitions, land bulldozing, and arrests. Meanwhile, the aggression against Syria continues through airstrikes and incursions, as part of what he described as the “David Corridor” plan to control southern Syria and expand up to the Euphrates.

As for Lebanon, he argued that the American-Israeli pressure to disarm the resistance aims to enable the enemy to fully dominate the country.

Qatar and the Attack on Negotiators

Al-Houthi addressed the Israeli attack in Qatar, which targeted the Hamas negotiating delegation, calling it a “double assault on Qatari sovereignty and on the negotiation process.” He said the incident exposes the expanding “violation paradigm” imposed by the Israeli entity — even upon Gulf states.

The American Role

Speaking on the U.S. position, al-Houthi stressed that Washington does not act out of tactical interests but from an ideological foundation that considers the creation of “Greater Israel” a sacred religious mission. He affirmed that relying on the United States to achieve peace is a “mirage,” noting that what happened with the Palestinian Authority — including sanctions and being barred from attending UN meetings — proves “the futility of that path.”

Arab and International Positions

Al-Houthi criticized official Arab and Islamic stances for being limited to statements and declarations, without any practical steps. He described this as a “foolish strategy” that has only increased the enemy’s ambitions.

He added that the normalization states have taken no steps to cut ties with Israel despite its crimes in Gaza, Qatar, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen.

Popular and Yemeni Stances

Al-Houthi praised demonstrations held in 13 countries — including marches in Belgium and Mexico — as well as the continued efforts of the naval flotillas attempting to break the siege. He also highlighted the massive celebration of the Prophet’s birthday in Yemen, considering it a reflection of the Yemeni people’s “faith identity” and their alignment with the cause of supporting Palestine.

Call for Jihad

At the end of his speech, al-Houthi emphasized that the Islamic nation needs jihad, considering it a means of protection and a tool for moral and educational development. He called for a return to the Holy Qur’an and the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) to face the Zionist threat with awareness and insight. He asserted that the truth and the injustice are clear — and that a practical stance is needed to restore the dignity and pride of the Muslim nation.
