Sana’a forces on Tuesday released exclusive footage documenting the moment they targeted the commercial vessel Magic Seas, owned by a Greek company that does business with Israeli ports, resulting in the ship’s complete sinking in the Red Sea.
The footage, aired by the military media arm of the Sana’a forces and monitored by Yemen Echo, shows repeated radio calls made to the ship’s captain, demanding he stop the vessel — calls that were ignored.
After disregarding the warnings, unmanned naval boats belonging to the Sana’a forces carried out a direct strike on the ship’s hull, prompting the vessel to issue a distress call before it began sinking.
The footage also captured special units from the Sana’a forces boarding the ship, conducting an internal sweep, planting explosive devices, and detonating them — in what was described as a precise operation executed according to well-defined rules of engagement, culminating in the final moments of the vessel’s total submersion.
This operation is part of a series of maritime attacks launched by Sana’a, which it describes as direct support for the Palestinian people and retaliation for Israeli aggression.
