Galaxy Ship Engulfed in Flames After Direct U.S. Airstrikes

NYN | News

The United States has continued escalating its airstrikes on Yemen, launching two raids this evening that directly targeted the commercial ship Galaxy while it was docked at Ras Isa Port in Hudaydah Province, leading to its complete destruction.

Local sources at Ras Isa Port reported that the Galaxy was struck by two direct airstrikes, causing severe damage that resulted in the ship catching fire and being completely destroyed. Concerns are mounting over a potential environmental disaster due to the leakage of its contents.

This attack is part of an intensified wave of U.S. airstrikes since yesterday, targeting multiple civilian sites across various Yemeni provinces and resulting in dozens of civilian casualties.
