Gaza Welcomes the Dawn of Peace After Two Years of Fire: Agreement Reached to End the War and Withdraw the Occupation

NYN | News

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has just announced the conclusion of a comprehensive agreement to end the war on the Gaza Strip. The agreement includes the full withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the implementation of a prisoner exchange between the two sides.

According to the statement, the announcement comes after intensive negotiations hosted in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh regarding the American proposal. In its statement, the movement expressed appreciation for the regional and international efforts that sought to end the aggression and ensure the withdrawal of the occupation.

Hamas called on U.S. President Donald Trump and the guarantor states of the agreement to ensure that the Israeli government fully implements the terms of the agreement without delay or evasion, emphasizing the need to respect all agreed-upon commitments.

At the conclusion of its statement, the movement saluted the Palestinian people for what it described as their “legendary steadfastness and heroic stance,” affirming that the sacrifices of the people will not be in vain, and that the struggle will continue until freedom, independence, and the establishment of a Palestinian state on all of its national territory are achieved.
