The Sana’a government forces have announced an upcoming military statement to be released at 9:30 AM today, Wednesday, regarding a new military operation deep within Israeli territory. This comes after hours of conducting naval operations targeting two ships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.
In a brief statement, the military spokesperson for the Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed that “there will be a military operation by the Yemeni Armed Forces to be announced deep within the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine, at 9:30 AM Sana’a time.”
On Tuesday evening, Sana’a forces reported executing three naval operations targeting two ships, one of which was a British oil tanker, and another that violated the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine.
In a televised statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that “the naval forces, missile forces, and the Air Force carried out three military operations. The first operation targeted the British oil tanker Cordelia Moon in the Red Sea using eight ballistic and cruise missiles, a drone, and an unmanned boat, resulting in severe damage to the ship.”
He added that “the second operation targeted the Marathopolis ship in the Indian Ocean with a cruise missile. The third operation targeted another vessel for violating the ban while sailing in the area of operations of the Armed Forces in the Arabian Sea, northeast of the Socotra Archipelago, and was hit by a drone,” confirming that “the ship was struck directly.”
Saree emphasized that “the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue their military operations and impose a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy, and these operations will not stop until the aggression on Gaza is halted, and the siege on it is lifted, as well as stopping the aggression on Lebanon.”
These three naval operations followed hours after Sana’a forces conducted military operations targeting Israeli sites in “Tel Aviv” and “Eilat.”
In a televised statement yesterday morning, Brigadier General Yahya Saree explained that “the Yemeni Armed Forces’ Air Force targeted an Israeli military site in the occupied Jaffa area with a ‘Yafa’ drone, and military targets in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area were hit by four ‘Sammad 4’ drones.”
Brigadier General Saree confirmed that both operations successfully achieved their objectives, noting that these attacks were in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and their resistance against aggression.
He reiterated that “the Yemeni Armed Forces affirm their practical support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples until the aggression is defeated and its criminal schemes and expansionist conspiracies are thwarted.”
In concluding the statement, Saree called on “all Arab and Islamic nations to break their silence and actively participate in this decisive battle, as we mark the first anniversary of its blessed launch, which continues by the grace of God until the promised victory is achieved.”
