Government forces in Sanaa announced this morning a series of attacks against Israeli ships in the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean using ballistic missiles and drones.
In a statement issued by the spokesperson for the Sanaa government forces, Yahya Saree, posted on his account on “X” platform, it stated: “The Yemeni armed forces conducted a joint operation involving the navy, drones, and ballistic missiles targeting the Israeli ships MSC DIEGO and MSC GINA in the Gulf of Aden.”
The statement added: “The missile force carried out two qualitative operations targeting the ship MSC VITTORIA in the Indian Ocean and the same ship in the Arabian Sea, resulting in direct hits,” as mentioned in the statement.
The statement indicated that “the Yemeni armed forces are monitoring the developments in the Gaza Strip and will not hesitate to escalate their military operations in support of the Palestinian people’s just cause, as stated in their previous statements.”
It reiterated that their operations “continue to prevent Israeli navigation or vessels heading to occupied Palestine in the declared areas,” pointing out that the cessation of operations by the Sanaa government forces is conditional on stopping the aggression and siege on Gaza, according to the statement.
