Greater Israel Under the Microscope: The Hidden War with Yemen

NYN | News

In a speech delivered on Friday during the Arab National Conference held in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, the leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, affirmed that the Arab and Islamic nations are facing serious challenges and conspiracies that require broad mobilization at all levels — especially among intellectual and political elites.

“The Importance of the Conference and Its Timing”

Al-Houthi described the Arab National Conference as an important milestone for reaffirming fundamental principles, noting that its timing is critical as it comes amid circumstances that demand the awakening of peoples and the expansion of awareness about the conspiracies targeting all without exception.

“Warning Against the Zionist Scheme”

He warned that the Israeli entity openly declares its intention to reshape the Middle East and establish what it calls “Greater Israel,” amid the negligence of some members of the nation and their evasion of responsibility — despite the ongoing Zionist aggression for the past two years.

“The American-Israeli Partnership”

Al-Houthi pointed out that the Israeli enemy, in partnership with the United States, seeks to impose a formula of permissiveness in which blame is shifted to the victim instead of the aggressor. He stressed that this Israeli entity is attempting to disarm the forces that protect Lebanon and hinder its control over Gaza.

“Criticism of Israel’s Loyalists”

He criticized the cooperation of some loyal to the Israeli entity, warning that such actions inflict enormous losses on the nation — foremost among them the loss of freedom and independence, and submission to the logic of subjugation.

“The Israeli Entity Stripped of Humanity”

Al-Houthi described the Israeli entity as a tyrannical criminal stripped of human values, saying that its aggressiveness and hatred are evident in its practices in Palestine, Lebanon, and across the region — all within its broader plan to establish “Greater Israel.”

“A Call to Hold Fast to Strength”

He emphasized that what truly benefits the nation in facing this tyranny is to cling to all elements of strength — not to submit to Israel’s dictates that seek to weaken it. He criticized those who ignore the successful experiences of Lebanon and Gaza, which forced the enemy to retreat.

“Commending the Support Fronts”

Al-Houthi praised the role of the support fronts, foremost among them Hezbollah, which has set an example in steadfastness and sacrifice. He affirmed that Yemen has strongly contributed to supporting Gaza through military operations that included 1,830 missions involving missiles, drones, and boats, as well as targeting 228 ships and shutting down the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) for two years.

“Confronting American Aggression”

In response to American aggression in support of Israel, Al-Houthi revealed the downing of 22 MQ-9 aircraft and engagements with five American aircraft carriers, forcing them to leave the area of operations. He asserted that even the Americans acknowledged the intensity of the confrontation and the effectiveness of Yemeni tactics.

“Sacrifices and Popular Activities”

He noted that Yemen has offered hundreds of martyrs and wounded, including the Prime Minister and several ministers, crowning these sacrifices with the martyrdom of Chief of Staff Muhammad Abdul Karim al-Ghamari.

Al-Houthi also highlighted popular mobilization efforts, including more than half a million public activities and military training for over 1.1 million recruits.

“Rejecting Misleading Characterizations of the Conflict”

He rejected portrayals of the conflict as one between Iran and “Israel,” stressing that the occupied lands are Arab and that Iran’s role is one of support for Arab causes and the nation’s issues. He described this characterization as a “foolish narrative” that denies the truth.

“Conclusion”

In conclusion, Al-Houthi affirmed that the resilience shown in Gaza and the supporting fronts, along with the global awakening of peoples, served as pressure factors that forced the enemy to announce a halt to its aggression. He warned, however, against attempts at deception and backtracking, calling for efforts to thwart such schemes and to preserve and strengthen the elements of power.
