Gulf State Abandons Neutrality, Joins U.S. Strikes on Yemen

NYN | News

Strong indications have emerged suggesting that Saudi Arabia has become a launchpad for U.S. attacks on Yemen.

Satellite images captured on Sunday revealed Saudi involvement in providing logistical support for U.S. military operations targeting Yemen.

According to data from the flight tracking website Flightradar24, Prince Sultan Air Base in Riyadh has become a transit hub for transporting military equipment in support of U.S. forces in the Red Sea.

The images showed the arrival of two U.S. military cargo planes, Boeing C-17s, at the base over the past two days, coming from American military bases in Eastern Europe. These aircraft are among the largest transport carriers in the U.S. military fleet.

According to media sources, the total number of such U.S. aircraft arriving at the base has reached nine since the latest strikes on Yemen began, coinciding with the presence of American forces at the Saudi base.

Military analysts believe that this airlift activity confirms Riyadh’s active logistical support for U.S. operations, despite its attempts to maintain a neutral stance in the conflict.
