Hebrew Media Reveal: U.S. Show of Force Against Iran… and “Israel” Raises Alert to Maximum Level

Cancellation of the “Cabinet” meeting, opening of shelters, and heightened military readiness amid assessments of a large-scale Iranian missile attack

As the United States showcases its military power in the region by deploying aircraft carriers and warships near Iran, signs of mounting concern are emerging within Israel. Hebrew and American media outlets report an unprecedented state of alert across Israeli security and military institutions.

Cancellation of the “Cabinet” Meeting Without Explanation

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation reported the cancellation of a meeting of the so-called “Cabinet” (the ministerial security cabinet) in the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, postponing it until next Sunday without providing official reasons. Observers interpreted the move as reflecting confusion or a reassessment of the security situation amid rapidly evolving developments.

Maximum Alert and Opening of Shelters

For its part, the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed that the so-called Home Front Command had declared a state of maximum alert, reinforcing preparedness in shelters, emergency medical services, and multi-layered air defense systems in anticipation of sudden field developments.

Meanwhile, Israel Hayom reported that internal assessments suggest Iran may have decided to launch large-scale missile barrages with significant destructive capability toward Israel — even if it does not directly participate in any U.S. strike targeting Iranian facilities.

U.S. Report Confirms State of Mobilization

In the same context, the American network CNN published a report confirming that maximum alert status had been declared across various Israeli security and military institutions, as well as emergency and ambulance services, alongside preparations of shelters and mobilization of air defense units.

Show of Force… and Fears of Explosion

These developments come amid U.S. military movements described as a “show of force” directed at Iran, in a clear message of deterrence. However, indicators emerging from inside Israel reflect fears that any U.S.–Iran confrontation could escalate into a broader regional conflict, with Israel at its center.

Between American deterrence messaging and Iranian response calculations, the region appears to be entering an extremely sensitive phase, as regional and international capitals await the trajectory of events in the coming days.
