Zionist security sources say the Houthis are training to storm settlements and military bases, simulating an “October 7” scenario.

The Hebrew website Walla, citing senior Israeli security sources, revealed growing concern within the military establishment of the Israeli state over preparations by the Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis) to carry out potential attacks against “Israel,” which could include ground incursions resembling the events of October 7.
An Israeli security official stated that in recent weeks the Houthis have released video footage showing their fighters training to storm mock-ups simulating Israeli settlements and military bases, including scenarios involving attacks on soldiers and civilians. He added that “the battle against Yemen has not yet ended.”
Assessments: Scenarios of Sea Assault or Infiltration via Sinai
According to the security assessments cited by the Hebrew site, the Israeli army is preparing for multiple possibilities, most notably a surprise maritime attack toward Eilat or attempts at ground infiltration through Sinai, amid what sources described as Sana’a awaiting “zero hour” for the outbreak of a broad regional confrontation.
The report indicated that renewed escalation could be linked to the possibility of Israel reneging on the Gaza agreement and resuming military operations, which could prompt the Houthis to restart missile and drone attacks, in addition to escalating toward bolder options.
Occupation Raises Southern Readiness and Intensifies Intelligence Efforts
Walla noted that the Israeli army has recently intensified its intelligence and field measures while raising the level of readiness along the southern border, in what the report described as an effort to preempt any sudden developments related to the Yemeni front.
The site added that these moves are taking place amid the absence of U.S. restrictions on Israeli military activity, despite the de-escalation agreement reportedly reached between Washington and Sana’a.
