Hebrew Website Admits: The Rising Power of Sana’a Disrupts the Occupation Entity’s Calculations

An Israeli report warns of Yemen’s transformation into an influential regional player amid growing military capabilities

The Hebrew-language website “Epoch” has acknowledged that the rapid rise and increasing activity of Sana’a forces, led by the Ansar Allah movement, have become a growing source of concern within the security and military establishments of the occupation entity, amid assessments pointing to potential repercussions for regional power balances and Israel’s vital strategic interests.

Fears of Expanded Operations and New Alliances

The report explains that Israeli intelligence agencies are paying close attention to the possibility that Yemeni military operations could expand to include additional maritime routes and bases, alongside the potential formation of innovative regional alliances that could help alter the current rules of engagement.

Yemen as an Advanced Threat Platform

According to the security assessments cited by the website, the occupation entity fears that Yemen could turn into a launch platform for more complex attacks if the pace of armament and technological development continues at the same rate, especially in light of the failure of the United States and Western powers to curb Yemeni naval operations.

The Yemen File on the Table of Netanyahu and Trump

“Epoch” suggested that the growing Yemeni military capabilities are likely to top the agenda of the anticipated meeting between occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump, as one of the most pressing files in the coming phase.

Intelligence Coordination and Tougher Options

The report noted that both sides are seeking to coordinate joint offensive and defensive strategies and enhance the exchange of highly sensitive intelligence information to confront what it described as the “growing Houthi threat,” which—according to the Israeli characterization—has gone beyond Yemen’s geographic boundaries to become a factor affecting the occupation entity’s security and interests in the region.

Beyond Diplomacy

The Hebrew website concluded that the Netanyahu–Trump meeting represents an attempt to draw up a new “roadmap” for dealing with this issue, one that may go beyond traditional diplomatic solutions toward more hardline options in confronting what Tel Aviv considers a direct threat to the security of navigation in the Red Sea and beyond.
