Lebanese Hezbollah, in a statement, denied the “allegations made by some enemy media and various media platforms about targeting Majdal Shams,” adding that “the Islamic Resistance has no connection to the incident whatsoever and categorically denies all false claims in this regard.”
Earlier, Israeli Channel 12 claimed that 9 Israelis were killed “as a result of a rocket launched from Lebanon at Majdal Shams in the Golan.”
Israeli media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is conducting security consultations from Washington after being briefed on the details of the incident in Majdal Shams.
These claims by Israeli media came at a time when no party had claimed responsibility for the shelling of Majdal Shams from Lebanon.
