Amid escalating confrontations in the region, the leader of the Houthi movement (Ansar Allah), Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced that Sana’a forces had carried out ten missile and drone operations over the past week. These targeted Israeli sites in Jaffa, Beersheba, Ashkelon, and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), while maintaining the naval blockade imposed on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea, describing it as a continuous strategic pressure tool.
In his weekly speech, al-Houthi revealed that Israeli forces had launched five aggressive operations recently, which included over 107 airstrikes and direct naval bombardments. However, according to him, these attacks did not weaken the resolve of the Axis of Resistance; instead, they reinforced its determination and resolve to continue the battle.
In a related context, al-Houthi warned of American and Israeli efforts to reshape the Middle East’s balance of power, noting that the strategic goal of these plans is to entrench Israeli dominance at the expense of the independence and dignity of the region’s peoples.
He pointed out that the American rhetoric, including statements from the U.S. State Department, confirms a path that seeks to suppress the freedom of nations and undermine their faith-based and humanitarian will.
The leader of Ansar Allah stressed that true peace cannot be achieved through submission or concessions, but rather through conscious confrontation and adherence to Islamic principles. He argued that abandoning the path of resistance paves the way for the enemy to implement its expansionist projects without hindrance.
In a notable reference, al-Houthi praised Iran’s steadfastness and its firm military response to Israeli aggression, considering the success of the Iranian retaliation to be a result of serious military preparedness and a refusal to yield to Western blackmail. This, he said, made the cost of aggression against Israel high and forced it to retreat.
He described Iran’s stance as a model to be followed in resilience and the use of power to defend dignity and sovereignty.
Al-Houthi concluded his speech by stressing that the path of steadfastness and sacrifice is the only way to restore the rights and dignity of the nation. He called for drawing inspiration from real resistance models that have proven effective on the ground, rather than aligning with domination projects that only lead to weakness and collapse.
