An international organization has accused Israel of exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
In a post on the platform “X,” Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) expressed deep concern over the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen following recent attacks on Sana’a Airport and Hodeidah Port.
The organization stated: “The situation has worsened significantly after the recent attacks. We are closely monitoring the severe negative impacts these attacks have on civilians.”
It added: “These attacks have disrupted the delivery of humanitarian aid through Hodeidah Port, forcing our teams to adjust plans for distributing medical supplies, which has caused delays in reaching beneficiaries at a time of urgent need.”
The organization called for the protection of vital civilian infrastructure to ensure the swift delivery of humanitarian aid to those in dire need.
