Iranian Foreign Minister “Thanks” the U.S. Army… A Sarcastic Message Reveals Launch Sites of the Attack on Tehran
Araghchi: CENTCOM’s admission of using Gulf territories to launch missiles gives Iran the right to respond to sources of threat wherever they exist

NYN | Reports and Analyses
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi sent a strongly worded sarcastic message to the U.S. military’s Central Command following its acknowledgment that land and civilian facilities in some Gulf countries had been used to carry out attacks on Iran.
Commenting on a post issued by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), Araghchi said he “extends his thanks” to the U.S. military for admitting that the territory of neighboring countries had been used to launch short-range missiles against Iran. Observers interpreted the remark as a sarcastic political signal and a clear warning.
An Admission Granting Iran the Right to Respond
The Iranian minister explained that this public acknowledgment gives Tehran—both legally and operationally—the full right to deal with sources of threat wherever they are located. He stressed that Iran will respond to any sites used to launch attacks against it.
Araghchi added that Iranian missiles capable of striking distant targets would destroy these systems wherever they exist if those locations continue to be used in attacks on Iran.
A Direct Warning to Neighboring States
The Iranian foreign minister emphasized that if such strikes occur, “no one should complain about the consequences,” sending a warning to countries that host U.S. military bases or allow their infrastructure to be used in operations against Iran.
Observers believe Araghchi’s remarks constitute an explicit warning to countries in the region amid escalating military tensions, noting that Tehran is seeking to hold states whose territory is used in attacks directly responsible for any potential escalation.
