Israelis in the UAE: We Fled From Bombing to Bombing… Missiles Chase Us Wherever We Go
Hebrew Reports Reveal Fear Among Israelis in the UAE After Hearing Explosions From Iranian Strikes on U.S. Bases in the Gulf

NYN | Reports and Analyses
The Hebrew newspaper Maariv revealed a state of anxiety and fear among Israelis currently in the United Arab Emirates, after finding themselves amid growing military tensions in the Gulf following Iranian missile strikes targeting American bases in the region.
According to the newspaper, several Israelis residing in the UAE said they have been repeatedly hearing the sounds of explosions caused either by missiles launched by Iran or by those intercepted by U.S. air defense systems. This situation, they said, has raised their fears and prompted them to consider returning to Israel.
Explosions Following Them
One Israeli currently in the UAE explained that the country’s relatively small geographical size makes the sound of explosions more noticeable, adding that the noise of missiles has become a frequent occurrence amid the ongoing military escalation in the region.
He said that being outside Israel did not provide the sense of safety he had expected, noting that he discovered that the atmosphere of war was following him even beyond the country.
Talk of Secret Evacuation Flights
The same settler indicated that he had heard about arrangements for secret flights intended to return Israelis from the UAE, but said he had not seen any practical steps taken so far.
He added that some officials who were supposed to oversee their evacuation had already left on those flights, leaving others waiting anxiously and uncertain about their situation.
Growing Concerns in the Gulf
These developments come amid escalating military tensions in the region, as U.S. bases in the Gulf have been experiencing repeated missile attacks. The situation has affected the security environment and raised concerns among foreign residents—including Israelis—in several Gulf countries.
